JAGEN UND FISCHEN turns a visit to the exhibition into a real adventure for the whole family. Discover the fascinating worlds of hunting and fishing together with your children. Our special exhibitions present these topics in an interactive and engaging way, ensuring that even the youngest visitors can join in the experience. What's more, children under the age of 15 enjoy free admission!
Hunting Dogs in Action
The hunting dog area at JAGEN UND FISCHEN is one of the exhibition's biggest attractions. The Augsburg Hunting Dog Association presents around 50 different hunting dog breeds and types in impressive live demonstrations.
Forest of the Future
The "Forest of the Future" exhibition by the Office for Agriculture, Forestry and Food offers fascinating insights into the future of our forests. Visitors can take part in an interactive quiz about forest trees, making the topic engaging and accessible for both children and adults.
Bird of Prey Flight Show
A highlight for visitors of all ages: the outdoor bird of prey flight show! Experience majestic falcons soaring overhead before landing just a few metres away. Children also have the unique opportunity to hold a falcon on their arm under expert supervision.
With the special Explorer's Guide, children and families can easily discover all the activities and programme highlights designed especially for young visitors. Exciting games, puzzles, and hands-on activities await at selected partner stands – come along and collect stamps as you go! Keep an eye out for the family logo on the exhibition floor plan to find all participating locations.
We also offer free guided tours for kindergarten groups and school classes. Our experienced guides are skilled at presenting the topics in a fun, age-appropriate way and are always happy to answer curious questions.
